Small and perfect

I have been trying to seek out more of the small stuff in life, mostly out of contrariness because we have huge distractions constantly shoved in our faces and I don’t want to play that game anymore.

Today I noticed that blueberries have beautiful star/flower patterns on their bottoms.

Yes, they were immedately eaten after the photo was taken. Such is the life of a blueberry. Their purpose was utterly and deliciously fulfilled.

  1. I’ve not been on the blogging end of the internet for a bit, but I’m glad I wandered this way today. Really nice and short read about something so small, but beautiful, and a really nice break from everything else covering social media etc. I might now spend 5 minutes checking my plums to see if they have a hidden beauty. Make what you will of that last bit.

I’m glad you liked it, thank you 🙂
Of course plums have hidden beauty, although it is in the eye of the beholder I’m told. I believe the NHS recommend checking plums for a couple of minutes each, so you should be covered.

  2. Well, that devolved fast. Now I don’t feel so bad about see the blueberries as little kitty assholes. Speaking of which, this is a thing #ReleaseTheButtholeCut. The world is weird.
