Bored? Who’s bored? I’m not bored.

I don’t save toilet roll inners for a weird reason, I save them for a perfectly valid reason. With the ends folded over they become treat holders for an energetic puppy, but as I haven’t seen that gorgeous puppy (or her equally gorgeous owner) for a couple of weeks, they have now become my new friends.

I haven’t started talking to them yet, but it is going to be difficult to see them torn apart in search of doggy biscuits…sigh…we all have sacrifices to make I suppose.

The inside cardboard tube in a toilet roll is called a Durder. That’s because if you hold it to your lips you will be unable not to make a “dur dur dur!” noise. Science! I like the faces but I hope they are not reflective of your mood.

Wow, I learn something new every day…thank you. Science indeed! (For them to accurately reflect my mood I would have to build them a rollercoaster to ride around the kitchen on….Hmmmmmm, new project?)

I certainly will. I am expecting multiple pearls of wisdom any day now.

This post has made my day! My last cat would bat those things around the room. Present cat is bewildered by my interest in them, so I’ve fed them to composting worms.. until now!

I am very happy to have raised a smile. My friends and I are also relieved to hear that their colleagues will no longer be worm food 🥳
